Your privacy, explained simply

• The name or nickname your grown-up typed in, and your age.
• The emoji you picked as your avatar.
• Which lessons you have finished, your quiz scores, your streak and your badges.

That’s it. We don’t know where you live, we don’t read your messages, and we don’t look at anything else on your phone or computer.

• Your parent or guardian — they set up the account, so they can see how you’re getting on.
• Your teacher — but only if you joined a class with a class code.
• Nobody else. Other families cannot see you.

The leaderboard is off unless your grown-up turns it on. If it is on, other learners only ever see your nickname — never your real name, your age, your school or your email. You can ask your grown-up to turn it off again whenever you like, and you’ll disappear from the list straight away.

• We will never show you adverts.
• We will never sell anything about you to another company.
• We will never ask you to pay for anything inside the app.
• We will never let a stranger message you. There is no chat in FinLe.

You are allowed to ask for a copy of everything we know about you, ask us to fix something that’s wrong, or ask us to delete it all. Tell your parent or guardian — they can download or delete everything from the Parents page in one tap, or email us at hello@finle.uk.

If anything in FinLe upsets you, or you see something that shouldn’t be there, tell a grown-up you trust and ask them to email us at hello@finle.uk. We will look into it.
